The team at Hallmark Care Homes will be taking part in a dance-a-thon to raise money for Musica Music and Wellbeing, a social enterprise that supports people living with dementia and their caregivers to use music in their daily lives.
Hallmark hopes to raise £1,000 which will enable Musica to deliver their online music activity library, Musica Connect, free of charge to individuals living with dementia.
The care home provider will also be hosting a live discussion on Thursday, 1 July. A panel consisting of CEO at Alzheimer’s Society Kate Lee, Director of The Outstanding Society Zoe Fry and Chief Nurse of Adult Social Care, Professor Deborah Sturdy OBE, will be debating ‘How do we restore confidence in the social care sector following the pandemic?’
